The Next assignment we got was Sonic Soundscapes.

we had to performe a live music piece with improvised instruments in response to the work of well known creative practitioners, as well as creating a graphic notation for the very same.

Book cover..

Well if you were following..the next assignment was a book cover!..i basically had two ideas..if you dont already know..i had to do a cover based on the book Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep..and this is whut i managed to come up with..:)

First Design

 I wanted to keep it clean and simple..so i went with a white background. but after awhile i felt it didnt quite deliver the message it was suppose to..

The box is basically a bit part of the book..it where the characters have no feelings so they use an Empathy Box to feel..so i thought the whole book is solemnly based on emotions..then i started working on the box..and came up with my final idea..

Electric Sheep ?

Well our next assignment is a book report..and the title we got..

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep ?

yea..exactly!..it's mindblowing-ly confusing!

kinder ok after you mind map it out but it's still confusing..:/

Well this is what i managed to gather from it..Thank God for boring films that connect to the book..gah!..

well newayz..this is what i think it's about ;

It's about this guy named Rick  Deckard , who is a bounty hunter and apparently this takes place in 1992 several years after "world war terminus" destroyed much of earth. People were required to emigrate to off-world colonies to preserve the human race. (Mars). The incentive was that each emigrant will receive a custom built android servant. All animals are endangered btw. Owing and caring for an animal is considered a civic virtue and a status symbol . So people who can afford an animal choose to buy an artificial one, robotic animal to mantain social standing. 

So, Androids werent allowed back on earth, but they somehow managed to flee to escape the isolation and to be free of slavery to humans. And that is were Mr.Rick Deckard comes into the picture. He is required to "retire" these androids and bring peace upon the earth.

So yea thats basically that..imagine reading atleast 600 pages of it online!...gahh!..

but that basically summarizes it..:)

Shake it , Shake it!

So right!..for our next assignment we had to develop a brand image using a combination of type and letterforms derived from visual research. The brand will then be applied to graphics or an installation for an exhibition featuring a range of Lost formats or technologies. The exhibition will be promoted through a website..

In my case i researched on the Land 1000 Polaroid Camera

So i needed a exhibition display panel  , and a website with a logo..and this is whut i came up with..

It is basically inspired by the way most people shake a polaroid picture, thinkin it would dry it faster , but proven fact , it does not help..so dont do it..:)

This was my website , where all the polaroids were on a notice board..

and you have to pick one up and shake it to reveal the image..

 i thought it sat well with my logo..;)

And then the image appears followed with a line of text , 

Was well satisfied with the reviews i got from it..:)..so i'm one happy child.
